The aim of the conference is to diffuse information and knowledge on derivative products of different market sectors and identify methods of effectively using derivatives as tools of hedge and speculation in the formulation of strategies under different conditions of the economy.

Derivatives are known so much for the insurance that they offer as well as for the leverage. In the foreign markets, they have gained appreciable territory but in the Greek market there is still a considerable way to cover. Nevertheless, up until now, most professionals in the Greek market but also individual investors use concrete Stock Exchange derivatives only for speculation while their use is extended beyond those purposes in many more products.

That is mainly the reason why the focus of the conference lies on introducing the variety of derivative products in different market sectors such as:
